The city was founded by Alexander the Great and is home to the famous Library of Alexandria, the largest library in the ancient world.
IV. Giza Pyramids and Cairo Landmarks Next, the tour heads to the Giza Pyramids and Cairo landmarks. V. Luxor Temples The tour then heads to Luxor, the ancient city known as Thebes. Luxor is home to some of Egypt’s most famous temples, including the Karnak Temple, the Luxor Temple, and the Valley of the Kings. The Valley of the Kings is where many pharaohs were buried, and visitors can explore the tombs and learn about the history of Ancient Egypt.
VI. Aswan and Abu Simbel The final destinations on the tour are Aswan and Abu Simbel. Aswan is a city located on the Nile River and is known for its beautiful scenery and ancient landmarks. Visitors can take a boat tour of the Nile River and visit the Philae Temple, the High Dam, and the Unfinished Obelisk. Abu Simbel is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to two temples built by Pharaoh Ra messes II. The temples were moved from their original location to avoid being flooded by the Nile River.
This tour package allows individuals with limited mobility to explore the length of Egypt’s Nile Valley, from Alexandria on the Mediterranean to Abu Simbel on Lake Nasser.
